Crisalix 3D Face Simulation
Dr. Rizk now uses Crisalix 3D Face Simulation Technology in his practice. Crisalix 3D Face Simulation Technology is the first fully interactive, 3D simulator based on 2D photos for facial aesthetics. This allows Dr. Rizk to provide all of his patients with the best approximation of how they could look with newly refined features, following facial plastic surgery.
During the appointment, Dr. Rizk takes three photos of the patient one from the left, center and right side. The Crisalix Technology then morphs the photo into one image, accurately creating fully interactive 3D views of the patient in just a few minutes. The new image allows Dr. Rizk to show the patient what her new features (nose, facelift, blepharoplasty, neck lift, etc.) will resemble post surgery, fully accounting for muscle structure, skin tone and fine lines.
It was a natural transition for Dr. Rizk to incorporate Crisalix into his practice, which is focused on cutting-edge technologies. Dr. Rizk's rhinoplasty and facelift surgery utilize 3D High Definition Telescope Intraoperative Technology as well as powered micro-instruments to produce more precise results. In rhinoplasty surgery, more precision is critical to a natural outcome since millimeters can make the difference between a natural or unnatural result. In facelift surgery, this technology enables a safer and better operation through better intraoperative neck and face visualization.
Visualization is a priority in surgery with Dr. Rizk. Prior to Dr. Rizk, telescopes had never before been used in the neck portion of facelift surgery. Dr. Rizk believes neck and jawline definition is one of most important aspects of a youthful face.
Now the Crisalix technology will provide Dr. Rizk's patients with an invaluable asset: a clear, accurate image of the results they can realistically expect following surgery with Dr. Rizk.
Dr. Rizk is committed to open physician-patient communication and providing patients with these images is just another way he can learn about and understand his patient's desired goals. And that leads to better surgical outcomes and a happier, more empowered patient.
