Dr. Rizk and Little Baby Face Foundation
Well-known worldwide for his humanitarian efforts, Sam Rizk, MD, FACS, serves on the board of directors of the Little Baby Face Foundation, an organization that transforms the lives of children born with facial deformities through corrective surgeries. Dr. Rizk is part of the team of surgeons who volunteer their time and talents to provide corrective surgery and medical support to children and their families in financial need around the world, including Mongolia, Peru, Nigeria, Philippines, and others.
Renowned as one of the most knowledgeable surgeons in rhinoplasty for pioneering the use of endoscopic high definition technology, Dr. Rizk strives to offer these young patients top-of-the-line care with tiny incisions that produce minimal scarring and fast-healing techniques that limit recovery time. He works to correct ear deformities such as missing or malformed ears, and nasal deformities, including nasal clefts, nasal swelling and nasal atresia.
The treatments can be complex: On average, two surgeries lasting three hours each are needed. For Dr. Rizk, serving the needs of others is worth it to see the smiles and tears of joy and happiness from the children and their families in knowing that they were expertly cared for.
Dr. Rizk has also been recognized with the 2012 Patients’ Choice Award for outstanding service and patient care, an honor bestowed on a small group of elite physicians nationwide.
