Dr. Rizk performs many different types of facelifts and customizes the lift for each patient to achieve a natural, long lasting result with the most rapid recovery. The lifts differ in length of scar and layers of tissue lifted. Dr. Rizk performs deeper lifts where indicated for a greater degree of aging and tucks scars away inside the ear to permit putting hair up after surgery with no visible scarring. Patients are able to resume their normal routines usually within 7-10 days after surgery. The Rapid Recovery neck lift, innovated by Dr. Rizk and featured on Fox 5, incorporates the use of the Endotine ribbon device which distributes tension over a wider area to create a more natural lift with a longer lasting result. Dr. Rizk was the first surgeon to use this ribbon device in the deep plane facelift. Dr. Rizk also incorporates the use of tissue glues to expedite the healing process and decrease bruising and swelling. Browlifts can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad or tired. Using either traditional or minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, the muscles above the eyes are altered to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a more youthful appearance. The procedure is often combined with other operations such as blepharoplasty and facelifts to improve the look of the eyes and other areas of the face. In a traditional browlift the surgeon makes a coronal (headphone-shaped) incision behind the hairline, stretching between the ears and across the top of the forehead. In a minimally invasive (endoscopic) browlift the surgeon makes three to five short incisions; then an endoscope -- a slim instrument with a camera on the end -- is placed in one incision while the surgeon works through the other incisions.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in an office with local anesthesia in as little as 45 minutes. Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift or BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crow’s feet or dark circles under the eyes. Dr. Rizk has published a landmark article on blepharoplasty. He performs a scarless technique for lower lids with no external scar. He also performs a modifird version of upper eyelift to address the sagging hooded eye.
Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. Many times a plastic surgeon may recommend chin surgery to a patient having nose surgery in order to achieve facial proportion, as the size of the chin may magnify or minimize the perceived size of the nose. Chin surgery helps provide a harmonious balance to your facial features so that you feel better about the way you look. Whether or not we notice it consciously, full cheeks are often a part of how we judge a person's face. Cheek implants can have a major impact on the appearance and self-confidence of patients whose cheeks have thinned or sunken due to age, illness or other causes. Implant sizes and shapes are tailored to each patient's desired appearance; for example, a relatively flat cheekbone area can be enhanced or made more prominent with the insertion of cheek implants. People who are endowed with excessively generous lip size can also benefit from lip reduction procedures. The incision is placed inside the mouth and is invisible.

Otoplasty, commonly referred to as ear pinning, corrects the size or placement of an individual’s ears. Otoplasty is generally performed on children ages of 4-14, as the ears finish growing by 4, and otoplasty can prevent adolescent ridicule, but the procedure is also performed on adults. Good otoplasty makes the ears more proportional to the size and shape of the head and face.
