What Is a Revision Facelift?

A facelift revision aims to refine or rectify the results from a previous facelift. It’s often more nuanced than primary facelifts due to scar tissue and changes post-original surgery. Dr. Rizk’s expertise ensures that even the minute imperfections are addressed, sculpting a more youthful facial profile that looks natural.

Main reasons patients seek a revision facelift

  • Bad scarring around ears or earlobe
  • Recurrence of jowls or neck bands quickly
  • Improper vector from previous lift ( horizontal instead of vertical)
  • A lift that did not go deep enough in face or neck ( ie older type SMAS lifts )
  • Hairline abnormalities

  • Swelling
  • Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Adverse reactions

Dr. Rizk believes:

“Dr. Rizk had developed his own techniques and published his methods for customizing procedures to the patient’s facial structure and degree of aging, as opposed to a one size fits all approach. As more and more younger patients, including men, are requesting cosmetic facial procedures, Dr. Rizk believes that his newer techniques are better tailored to them. To that end, Dr.. Rizk authored some landmark articles on facelift, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty surgery, describing new techniques to be applied differently to younger versus older patients.”

After many consults with top NY doctors, I chose Dr. Rizk for a facelift, full face laser and eyelid surgery. I chose Dr Rizk because he truly listened to my concerns and treated me like an individual. We found a perfect solution. He does one surgery a day so isn’t rushed. He went over and above with the procedure to ensure perfection!! His office staff was so friendly, Dila, Heidi, Tatyana, Jola, Danielle, Nicole Kirill and the anesthesiologist Dr Scolnick were the best team before during and after. The nurses answer my calls even on the weekends. The front desk makes me feel welcome and never make me feel uncomfortable with all my calls! The office treats me like a VIP and addresses any questions every time I call or come in. After 1 month I did a reveal to friends and they were astounded and excited about the results. I look and even feel years younger! I look refreshed and renewed and am so grateful of the artistic amazing work that Dr Rizk created.

I didnt want a full facelift with a long recovery so I found a great facial plastic surgeon who could do a neck list and had my upper eyes also done at the same time. the whole experience was terrific. Dr Rizk was great and the recovery was better than I expected. So worth it. Don’t hesitate! I feel pretty and younger and I would do it again in a hot second.

Dr. Rizk performed what I guess you can call a major face lift on me perhaps 8 years ago.
His work is stellar. No one including my immediate family knew or knows I had work done. I did receive comments like you look terrific etc. Eight years later people are amazed when I tell them my age. (OK, not amazed. How ’bout surprised?) So the work was terrific. Last year I got the Fractionated CO2 Laser resurfacing. It went smoothly and I got great results.
Dr. Rizk is very good but also quite expensive. I don’t remember what the face lift cost but the laser treatment was $3000 for him $800 for the anesthesiologist plus $1000 for the facility-which is in his office.
As for Dr. Rizk himself he is nice-not overly friendly but certainly not disrespectful or rude in any way. I think he is just slightly quirky.

People come from overseas for his expertise. He works on faces only. I would not go anywhere else
