Patients should refrain from smoking and taking certain medications in the weeks leading up to surgery to ensure a safe and effective procedure. |
Surgery |
All rhinoplasty procedures are performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the patient’s needs, an open or closed rhinoplasty is performed. Dr. Rizk will use tissue glue instead of nasal packing which can create pain and shape distortion. |
Recovery |
Swelling and bruising will be apparent over the next few days. Prescribed medication will be administered to alleviate any pain or discomfort that exists. |
